North Shropshire Homecare was founded in 2011. Since then we have strived to deliver the best high quality care for you or your loved one, when you need it.
Our Story
Our domiciliary care company was founded by Maggie Allen and her previous business partner. Since then, the company has managed to grow to what it is today. We are a family run business who go above and beyond day and night and it is because of this, that we now deliver care to people all over the Whitchurch, Wem, Prees & surrounding areas.
Maggie Allen
Founder & Registered Manager
Maggie first began working in the care sector in 1995 at Elmhurst Nursing Home which specialises in Nursing Care and Dementia care. Throughout her 11 years there, she went on to become a Senior Carer and then Registered Manager of the home until 2006 where she then went on to manage a domiciliary care company similar to us for 4 years before finally starting North Shropshire Homecare Limited.
Maggie also in her spare time does countless charity fundraisers helping a wide variety of charities local to the community, as well as more well known charities such as Air Ambulance and Alzheimer’s Society.
